USD/JPY on the H4 chart is showing a short-term recovery from the 157.5–158.0 support zone, but price remains around the 200 EMA, which is acting as resistance near 160.0. A bullish break and sustained close above 160.0–160.5 could open the way toward 163.0, while rejection there may send price back toward 158.0. Overall, the setup is cautiously bullish above support, but confirmation above the EMA is important before expecting the projected move higher.

Gold prices muted ahead of Warsh’s Jackson Hole speech🚨

Gold prices were largely unchanged on Friday as investors awaited closely watched remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh at the Jackson Hole symposium for clues on the path of U.S. interest rates.

Spot gold traded flat at $4,600.19 an ounce by 02:50 ET (06:50 GMT), while U.S. Gold Futures fell 0.3% to $4,651.41.
