   The drop from the August high was five waves. Since the September low, GBPJPY has been correcting in a W-X-Y, and price is now in the last leg, (c) of Y. I give it a little more room into the upper red line, then I expect the turn.

   If price drops back under 208.19 first, the turn has already started. The next leg down points back toward the September lows. If the rise runs well past the red line instead, the correction is bigger than this and I rework the count.

   Gold is at a fork, so today I’m sharing both counts.

   First chart, count 1, the one I shared on Wednesday: the October range is a triangle in wave ④, and wave ⑤ still drops into the 4,000 box. Second chart, count 2: the correction ended in October, and wave 3 up is next.

   On Thursday I wrote what I wanted to see: a pullback that stays above 1.11128, then a break above the bounce high.

   The pullback came this morning. Price dipped to the 0.5 level at 1.1191 and buyers stepped in right away. A deeper dip to 1.1173 is still possible and wouldn’t change the count. Below 1.11128 it would.
