📊 Forex Recap: July 14–18, 2025

Hey traders, here’s a simple rundown of what shook the market this week:

🔹 Trump threatened 30% tariffs on EU & Mexico → EUR fell hard
🔹 Rumors Trump may fire Powell → USD lost momentum
🔹 U.S. Retail Sales were 🔥 (+0.6%) → short USD rebound
🔹 EUR/USD fell from 1.183 → 1.165 zone

🧠 What it means:
- The market hated uncertainty (tariffs + Powell = shaky ground)
- Good US data helped, but not enough to rescue the dollar fully
- Safe havens like Gold, Bonds, and even BTC saw a bid

📉 EUR/USD Technicals:
Support: 1.161 & 1.155
Resistance: 1.171–1.176

📅 What to Watch (July 21–25):
- Fed speakers → rate cut clues
- Tariff follow-up from EU?
- DXY hovering around 98 = key pivot

Human psychology is so weird.

When the bad times in the market pass, everybody knows that the best time to buy WAS during the bad times. No matter at what stage of the "bad" time.

As per the last video, the preparation was a Break and Retest on the HL. The confluences were perfectly fine, everything was on point, the price started dropping and we were close to getting a setup ..

However, time came when reporters asked Trump about the rumors of firing Powell, Fed Chairman, and he declined saying that it's just "highly unlikely".

That continued the drama and all markets were affected just as easy.

There were some options expiring too, as well getting into the NY kill zone session ... but Trump was the top.

Everyone wants to predict the market...
But real traders prepare — without assumptions.

This is a perfect example:
We’ve got a solid Break and Retest preparation in place,
but does that mean the setup is guaranteed to show up?
No.
And that’s the part most people miss.

📌 We’re stacking confluences:
– Weakened higher highs
– Micro structure shifting bearish
– Clean lower low & lower high
– Multiple rejection confirmations
– Even top-down bias from the weekly chart

That’s not overconfidence —
That’s evidence-based preparation.

And sure… the setup might not even show.
But if it does —
Hoo boy, we’re ready to strike.
Because that’s the moment that counts.
