🎄 Trader Advent — Cell #4 — Why Traders Break in the Middle of the Journey
The most dangerous moment in trading
is not the beginning
and not a deep drawdown.
❗ The most dangerous moment is the middle of the distance.
When:
you’ve already taken 10–20 trades
some are winners, some are losers
there is “no result yet”
doubt begins to appear
This is exactly when traders:
start changing strategies
start “slightly increasing position size”
start skipping rules
📉 And this is exactly where most traders lose their system.
This is called: loss of trust in the process.
The market hasn’t done anything wrong at this point.
It’s simply continuing to be the market.
But the trader:
gets tired of waiting
wants confirmation
wants faster results
👉 But trading is not about being faster.
👉 It’s about being consistent long enough.
A professional is defined by one thing only:
he does not change his behavior within a series.
He knows:
“If I follow my rules,
I don’t need to guess the outcome.”
